DLVS chief physician attends Gorgas course in Peru

Carsten Schade Larsen, our chief physician in Denmark, recently attended the Gorgas advanced course in Clinical Tropical Medicine in Lima, Peru.

The course aimed to enhance his clinical skills and knowledge of tropical diseases.

The course was held at the Hospital ‘Nacional Cayetano Heredia’, which serves patients from all areas of Peru.
The course focused on the epidemiology, clinical presentations, diagnostic methods, and treatment options for tropical diseases in Peru.

Carsten had the opportunity to exchange knowledge with other specialists in tropical medicine and gain new insights into the treatment of tropical diseases.
